Street Safety: Not Just For Progressives
Abstract
American streets are often designed to favor high-speed automotive traffic- even in areas where there are enough pedestrians to make such traffic dangerous. Traditionally, advocacy for narrower, safer streets has been dominated by left-leaning city-dwellers. This article explains why conservatives and suburbanites should be more receptive to such advocacy.
